Out of Retirement

It has been a few years since I've done an organizing gig.  Life got real busy and I didn't have time for my side hustle.  All that changed last week when a friend asked if I could organize her closet.  She and her family recently moved into their new house and she had yet to use her brand new closet.

It just so happened I was free this weekend and able to take on this job.  I only hope my next house will have a closet like this.

My Friend the Shopaholic!!!

My friend has everything related to clothing, shoes, and accessories!
It was time to get organized.  Some items were donated and others taken to resale shops.
The remainder was organized and placed neatly in her fabulous walk-in closet.

In addition, I organized her purse and massive shoe collection.  This was a fun gig.
In addition, my client was able to make some extra money at the resale shop.

Kithchen Overhaul

It was time to de-clutter my client's kitchen.  The kitchen became a catch all.  It was time to throw some things out, and clean out the junk drawer and pantry.

Finally My Own Closet!

This client has had to share this closet her entire life (14 years), lol.  Finally, she decided she wanted her own closet.  Here is the end result.

I Want It All!

Not everyone wants to buy organizers such as shoe racks, bins, etc.  That's not a problem.  I will work with what you have and make it work.  My client parted with 8 bags of clothing, but still wanted to keep a lot of her clothing items and shoes.

When Two Become One

Aisha and Marcus are newlyweds that are combining homes.  I was hired to organize their closet.  After I finished, I left a list of things the couple could do to maximize space.  Some of the suggestions were to purchase shoe racks, box the stuffed animals, and use their attic as a storage unit.

Shoe racks were placed on the left side and clothing was sorted by style and color.

Boots were placed in the bins.

Now they can find their hats!
